my boss(the japanese) will fax his own documents.
but the local managers just plain lazy to get their ass off the
chair to fax the documents.
once a manager tries to fax a document, suddenly somebody says
"Hello"...this manager looks at me (i was sitting next to both
printer and fax machine 
) and asks me how come got people talking one. She
tried for 5 times and gave up....
I ask her to call the company for the correct fax
number.
She insists the fax number is given to her by the company.
Guess what, she uses the number she calls to the company as fax
number...
Don't tell me this is an excuse for them not to fax their own
document....

won't the constant buzzing from the machine irritate you? i
won't survive that kinda onslaught though i've learnt how to blank
out voices and teleconversations since we have an open office
concept (ala school canteen rows of tables and chairs).
